Churches Responding
to Needs in Our Community
For over 45 years, families in Fuquay-Varina have received emergency financial help from our church-supported emergency relief organization. Once called Fuquay Family Aid, our current non-profit, Southern Wake Faith Community in Action (SWFCA), continues helping local residents who are in distress.
SWFCA's mission is a coordinated effort to provide emergency financial assistance, information and referral in the communities of Fuquay-Varina and Willow Spring, North Carolina, for those experiencing crises situations related to shelter, utilities and other basic human needs.
Today, SWFCA is helping more people who have lost jobs and simply cannot find work, or have reduced work hours. Many come in to apply for financial aid because they have experienced a major life-altering family or medical problem.
SWFCA is solely supported by donations from area churches and individuals and the dedication of many community volunteers.
Help Us Help Your Neighbors
Partner with SWFCA and help needy families with their basic needs. Last year, SWFCA helped over 250 families keep their lights on, helped prevent evictions, funded needed medications, and addressed other one-time emergency needs.
Prayerfully consider a donation to SWFCA.
Also, consider becoming a sustaining donor with a quarterly financial gift in the amount of $100, $200, $300 or $500.
